WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics for education programs including site selection, contract negotiation, food and beverage services, audiovisual requirements and billing reconciliation.
  • Act as lead planner for Leadership Development and Advisory Council, responsible for site selection including coordination with venue on logistics, housing and on-site management.
  • Coordinate and ensure execution of registration tasks for all events, including creation and management of registration platform, addressing questions from registrants and on-site registration.
  • Assist the Director of Meeting Services in executing the Annual Conference including with sponsorship sales and fulfillment, development of content for mobile app and management of registration process.
  • Coordinate room blocks and reservations for internal meetings.
  • Maintain historical meeting records and produce post-event reporting as requested.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABLITIES

  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism or related field, or equivalent related work experience
  • Net forum experience preferred
  • 3 years of experience in meeting planning, including:
    • Creating and running events
    • Ability to independently prioritize multiple projects and meet all deadlines, while remaining in close coordination with other members of the team
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with variety of stakeholders
    • Resourceful under pressure, able to pivot smoothly and problem solve quickly
    • Proficient with MS Office, plus ability to quickly learn new systems and software

Physical Requirements

Standard office environment.

Travel Requirements

Travel required 2 to 3 times annually.
