  • Understand user requirements and how they translate in application features.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to set specifications for new software applications.
  • Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
  • Perform unit and integration testing on newly developed or recently updated software applications.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software applications.
  • Evaluate existing software applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
  • Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent software application design and code.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or bachelor's degree in another discipline coupled with equivalent work experience
  • Experience with NetForum data model, toolkit and application development preferred
  • At least five (5) years' experience with each of the following:
    • Programming experience with proven record of successfully building efficient and effective business applications
    • Writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
    • .Net development (C# or VB.NET), JavaScript (or other scripting languages), HTML, and CSS
    • Service-oriented architecture and SOAP and REST protocols
  • Proven analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly self-motivated and can work independently
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
